ABOUT “Continuity Beyond 2012″
The blog title is a giveaway for what this site is all about. The concern/interest of this blog site is to maintain a dialogue with interested public about the continuity of our civilization as it traverses this difficult Transition Era.
The Transition Era began in the mid-1980s and will continue for another 10-30 years, with the ominous date — 2012 — being the approximate mid-line date of this tumultuous era.
The Current Era ended in the mid-1980s. Some say that the Transition Era is synonymous with the 25 year interim period between the end of the Mayan Calendar that ended in 1987 and the beginning of the next Mayan Calendar, which begins December 21, 2012. According to the predictions, (see The Mayan Factor, by Jose’ Arguelles, and other similar books), this era begins a time of great global change for earth’s population, its consciousness, and the geo-physical foundations of this planet, for example.
And, not only will these outward changes be evident, but much more subtle changes will NOT be evident promptly. Those include the outworking of a new human essence expressed in new social paradigms, economies, relationship to the divine, and a more organic relationship to Gaia — Mother Earth.
As for this BLOG, its intent is to help readers understand our new, co-creative relationship with the Spiritual Caretakers of Earth, who have been assigned here since the earliest appearance of humankind; and, to begin, with them, to design sustainable social institutions.
“Their mission is to ensure the survial, safety, deveopment and maturation of a thriving global civilization,” as was explained in our YouTube 4-part Video series at http://www.youtube.com/user/Gabriel071659 Their job is to shepherd humankind forward to progress within the broadest parameters of survival, and only become directly involved when the survival of humanity’s civilization is in jeopardy — as it is now.
And that brings us full circle to the intentions and purposes of this BLOG: to keep the blogosphere informed about these developments.

Let me say that I believe there can be no greater work we can put our hands and hearts to at this time then the co- creative design process incorporating mankind into the decision making process having to do with our personal,and plantet’s sustainability as we now close down this epoch of human history and begin the New Era promised so long ago.
Well, Jahsar, there is more to come! I will be writing soon about details of sustainable social institutions. Sounds awfully dry to hear it said, but the dynamics of it are quite exciting.
